Refrigerated Box Temperature – The temperature a refrigerated box operates at determines if it is classified. For example:
- High-temperature systems operating at 47ᵒF to 60°F
- Medium temperature systems operating at 28ᵒF to 40ᵒF
- Low temperature systems operating at -20ᵒF to 0ᵒF
- Ultra-low temperature systems operating below -20ᵒF
Small Systems Basic Components – Small self-contained coolers and freezers contain the basic components necessary to every refrigeration system. These are:
- Compressor Condenser coil
- Refrigerant metering device
- Evaporator Coil
Larger Systems Components – Larger systems contain all the basic items above and additional specialty devices such as:
- Multiple compressors for capacity control
- Compressors with built-in capacity control
- Solenoid valves
- Thermostatic expansion valves
- Electronic expansion valves
- Evaporator pressure regulating valves
- Head pressure regulating valves for low ambient operation 3-way heat recovery valves
- Oil management systems
If your facility uses a lot of domestic hot water, a heat recovery system using heat that would be thrown away to heat your hot water can save a large amount of energy. Retrofitting your controls can also yield a large return on investment. Ask us about 24/7 monitoring and alarms to prevent the loss of your valuable products
